What is going to be narrated here, is neither an isolated case nor the most important known, but it is the only one in the world that has proved its objective veracity by allowing the presence of journalists and investigators of different fields, in the contact experiences.

The news about the first contacts in Peru in 1974, which where witnessed by a group of youngsters between 14 and 19 years of age, was broadcast by the news agency "EFE" in August of the same year. The information was confirmed shortly after, when the journalists were invited to an encounter programmed a week in advance at the Chilca's dunes, 60 km south of Lima. The experience ended with a sighting of two objects at a pre-set time.

This encounter was described in detail in a book published in 1975 by the protagonist, the Spanish journalist and now author Juan Jose Benítez Lopez, who at the time was correspondent of the "La Gaceta del Norte" of Bilbao, Spain.

The book titled "UFO's: S.O.S. TO HUMANITY", published by Plaza

and Janes of Barcelona, Spain, launched in the Spanish countries in 1975, and in Brazil in the Portuguese language in 1995, was the vehicle that communicated to the world the existence of this UFO contactee group.
