This
famous UFO and Sci-Fi writer and investigator was born in Pamplona, Spain
on September 7, 1946. He graduated in journalism from the University of
Pamplona, and began his work as a newspaper editor in the "Heraldo
de Aragón" of Zaragoza, the "Verdad de Murcia" and
finally, "La Gaceta del Norte" of Bilbao newspaper in 1972. |

A field with an enormous circular burn was found by the villagers, who also testified to seeing a great luminous object come down from the sky and then silently depart. Nevertheless it wasn't until 1974 that he found himself in the deserts of Chilca in Peru, standing next to the Paz Wells brothers, where he had the chance to witness a pre-arranged sighting of UFO's. Definitively these events gave birth to his first works: "Did Another Humanity Exist Before?" and also "Ufos: SOS to Humanity". In
1979 J.J. Benitez initiates research and study of information on the founder
of Christianity, Jesus of Nazareth, publishing a new book called "The
Correspondent", later on, he dedicated his study to the investigation
of the last moments in the life of Jesus. And based on the studies of
the Shroud of Turin, he gave birth his most important best seller: "Operation
Trojan Horse", which spread worldwide and creating great impact. |

In the same year he published "The TVE: Operation UFO" in which Benitez conducted a series of investigations related with the November 11 Manises case, one of the most important UFO events in the history of Spanish ufology; interviewing all the main witnesses of the event, such as the pilots of the commercial airplane, the pursuing pilot, etc. From the fruits of these investigations arose a book called "The Manises Incident". In 1980 he published "The Astronauts of Yave", through Planet publishers, where he tries to respond to the question on the extraterrestrial beings in the ancient times. Years later, in 1981, he returns with a new book of UFO investigation, "The Red Mountain Encounter" publishing by Plaza & Janés in Barcelona. After that, in 1982, published "Dreams", and next to this Benitez publish with Planet the trilogy dedicated to the UFO phenomena: "The Visitors", "Terror in the Moon" and "The Great Big Wave"; three books dedicated to the description of the more important UFO photography's. After all these years, J.J. Benitez became a worldwide best seller with more than 9 million of books sold around the world; becoming a well known Spanish writer and UFO researcher.
